About Me

I am a 36 year old mechanical engineer originally from Charlottesville, Virginia. From 2003-2007 I studied at Virginia Tech, earning my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in May of 2007. After finishing college, I worked for a consulting firm in Blacksburg, VA. Currently, I reside in South Florida and work with many wonderful colleagues as an engineer in the aerospace industry.

I've always been interested in Robotics, Cars, and Planes, although anything interesting is worth conversation. Work, 3D Printing, and Travel keep me busy. The first time I downloaded something I needed from Thingiverse, printed it out, and solved my immediate issue without even having to design anything or go to the store to buy anything convinced me that distributed, flexible manufacturing will be a long term improvement in our lives.

My wife, Sarah, and I have a beautiful little daughter named Natalie. I also have an older sister (Rebekah), and a younger brother (Christopher).
